5. Artificial Intelligence and Third-Party AI Processing
Monendum may provide AI-assisted functionality to help users organize tasks, interpret planning instructions and generate daily schedules.
The planned AI infrastructure uses Google Gemini through a backend service.
When you choose to use an AI feature, information relevant to your request may be transmitted to the AI service to generate a response.
For example, a request to organize your day may require processing the appointments, tasks, durations and priorities relevant to that day.
AI-generated results are suggestions and may contain errors or incomplete information.
Users should review AI-generated schedules before relying on them.
We discourage users from entering highly sensitive personal information, confidential third-party information or information unrelated to the requested planning functionality.
The exact provider processing arrangements, geographic locations, retention practices and treatment of AI inputs are subject to verification against the production configuration and applicable provider agreements.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
Monendum uses, or may use depending on the functionality enabled, third-party service providers to operate the application.
These may include:
Apple: App Store distribution, in-app purchases, subscription billing and Apple authentication services.
Google: Google authentication and AI processing through Gemini where enabled.
Superwall: Subscription paywall presentation and entitlement-related infrastructure.
Resend: Transactional and authentication-related email delivery.
Namecheap Private Email: Hosting communications received through our customer support mailbox.
Meta: Advertising measurement, analytics and SDK-related functionality where enabled.

8. How Long We Retain Your Information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal requirements.

While your account remains active, we may retain your account information, saved tasks, appointments, reminders, settings and other information necessary to provide Monendum.
8.2 Expired Subscriptions
If your paid subscription expires, your Monendum account and saved information remain accessible rather than being automatically deleted.
Under our current product retention policy, account content may be retained for up to 24 months after subscription expiration to facilitate account continuity and potential reactivation.
Premium features may become unavailable or restricted after subscription expiry.
This retention period does not override a valid earlier deletion request or applicable legal requirements. We will not retain information longer than necessary solely because the maximum retention period has not passed.
8.3 Account Deletion
If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account in accordance with applicable law, subject to information we are legally required or otherwise lawfully permitted to retain.
8.4 Other Information
Security records, diagnostic information, customer support communications, subscription-related records and backup data may follow different retention periods where justified by their purpose and applicable legal obligations.
Information that is no longer necessary will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with our retention practices.
9. Account Deletion
Users may request deletion of their Monendum account and associated personal information.
Where account creation is available, Monendum must provide an accessible in-app method to initiate account deletion.
Users may also contact support@monendum.com for assistance or privacy-related requests.
Account deletion is separate from subscription cancellation.
If you have an active subscription purchased through Apple, deleting your Monendum account does not necessarily cancel the subscription or stop future charges.
You should cancel your subscription through your Apple Account.
